IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Scientific contributions should be submitted exclusively through the online system available on the official conference website according to the format specifications.
- You can select up to three topics between Topics and Special Sessions
- It is necessary to indicate the preference for oral or poster presentation (the final decision is up to the Scientific Committee)
- Extended abstracts (two pages) can be edited until the submission deadline, set at 11:59 PM on December 20th, 2025
- The authors will be informed of the outcome of the selection by January 31st, 2026
- Extended abstracts will be evaluated through a peer- review process. The editorial board may request authors to amend proposed contributions, which may be subject to final validation. The modification and validation process will end by March 15th, 2026.
- Authors with accepted extended abstracts must register for the Conference by March 15th, 2026: otherwise, acceptance of the extended abstract will be revoked
The publications of the Conference are as follows:
- ABSTRACT BOOK: printed publication that will be delivered to event participants. It will include only the contents of the 200-word abstract, extracted from the extended abstract consisting of at least two pages.
- PROCEEDINGS: Extended abstract or Full Paper
Final versions of extended abstracts or Full Papers submitted for Proceedings on NDT.net will be made freely accessible on the NDT.net Open Access Archive in a special issue of the e-Journal of Non-destructive Testing (ISSN 1435-4934) (www.ndt.net)
Following the Conference, authors will be able to submit their Full Paper* to one of the journals listed below:
- NDT EVALUATION INTERNATIONAL (ELSEVIER)
- STRUCTURAL HEALTH MONITORING (SAGE PUBLICATIONS)
- Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation (TAYLOR & FRANCIS)
- INSIGHT – Non-Destructive Testing & Condition Monitoring (BINDT – The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing)
- Research and Review Journal of Nondestructive Testing (NDT.net)
NB: If authors wish to submit their Full Paper to one of the international scientific journals listed below, only the extended abstract may be published on NDT.net
*The submission of Full Papers to publishing houses must be managed by individual authors, in accordance with the procedures established by the publishing houses.

CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSIONS (SS)
To meet the high demand from participants, it is once again possible to submit a proposal for a Special Session on a specific vertical topic of NDT.
Please make sure to propose new topics, avoiding overlaps with already published Special Sessions.
Carefully read their descriptions in the available PDF files listed below.
All experts with experience in organizing scientific meetings are invited to propose Special Sessions (SS) on specific themes of NDT.
The proposals will be evaluated from the Scientific Committee. Only the selected SS with at least 6 accepted papers will be activated in the ECNDT2026.
The Organizers of the accepted Special Sessions will chair them in ECNDT2026.
U.S. FEDERAL ADMINISTRATION EMPLOYEES
Special provisions (postponed deadlines, etc.) are available for your attendance, upon request (authors@ecndt2026.com).
POSTER SESSIONS
Posters can be displayed throughout the conference upon request submitted by the corresponding Author.
Please contact the conference secretariat (authors@ecndt2026.com) for further details.
